this will take you to the siggy forum. I'm sure you'll find what you need there.

honey bun, I made the days left counter code for you. The date is for Oct 1st. 2008. I estimated that is 2 years and 7 months
If he has a different date than that, let me know and I'll change it
First erase your old counter code, and then just copy & paste this code into your signature box & save.
Also, just to let you know, if the pages are loading slow, the counter might not show up rite away

[noscd]year=2008&month=10&day=01&offset=offset[/noscd]

If you would rather have a counter from TickerFactory, here is the link, and once you make the ticker, copy the bbCode and paste it into your signature box. If you need help, let me know

Cool Need help with Ticker Factory

I created a ticker in TickerFactory but I need to change the day I selected for the first day of the week. I can't get back to the point where I selected it. Even if I try to create a new ticker it will not take me to that item. Anyone have any ideas how to change it?

You just need to go back & create a new ticker.

There are also other ticker sites to try that may work as well.

Here is a list of ticker sites.

Hi Flamered

I tried creating a new ticker but it didn't take me to the page where you select the day that begins the week. It completely skipped that part. I can't figure out why. It seems silly that if I create new tickers for anything the start of the week will always be the same day. That's the bit that I want to change but it won't take me there to do it.

Thanks. Here are the dates:

16 March 2008 is when he is due for parole.

Because he went in on a Friday I wanted the start of the week to be on a Friday but I set it to Monday when I first did the ticker and I've never been able to change it.

What bothers me is that if I wanted to create a new ticcker for another reason/event entirely I would want the start of the week to be different and I cannot seem to find a way of changing it. Any ticker I might create for any reason will always start on a Monday now and that's not what I want.

I wish I could clear the whole thing and start from scratch but it doesn't seem to do that.

I appreciate your help though. Thanks

I didnt come across any thing where you could choose which day of the week to start it on. Only what day it is now & the time zone. Maybe that was it?

I can look at other ticker sites & see or you could.

Sorry I couldnt be much more help.

I've only seen it come up the first time I used it. Hasn't come up since. Perhaps they have removed that feature.

If I get really fed up with it I'll have a look at some of the other sites myself and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the offer

I haven't checked lately so I don't know if this will help, but is it possible that the site uses cookies for that info to make it 'easier'? I used one of those type sites once and it kept all the date info no matter how many times I adjusted the graphics so I didn't have to keep entering that in over and over. If that's the case here then you might want to try dumping your cookies or your temporary internet files or maybe just a simple computer re-start would do it?

freckledgrl I thought about that and tried clearing my cookies etc but it didn't work. Can't remember whether I have restarted the computer since I first tried the tickerfactory (I leave my computer on usually) so might try that and see if it works.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya on the re-start and if nothing else, maybe clearing the temporary interent files will do it. Good luck
