Default Inmate Death

My hubby called today for a workers call and said they had been on lock down earlier.... Last night an Inmate was killed on the 2 yard / Mariposa.
This made me instantly sick to stomach......... So SAD RIP and Prayers for their Family and Friends...

Mine has called a few times each day since it happened. But they've been short.

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) officials are investigating the death of an inmate this evening.

Inmate Andrew Tisnado, 31, died this evening at a valley hospital. Inmate Tisnado was found by staff in his assigned bed on December 11, 2013, with severe head injuries. He was transported by air ambulance to a valley hospital, where he was placed on life support. No other information is available at this time as CDCR is currently investigating Inmate Tisnado’s death as a homicide.

Inmate Tisnado was a Hispanic male and was committed to CDCR on January 31, 2013 from Los Angeles County to serve a 4 year sentence for Possession of Ammunition by an Ex-Felon. He was scheduled to parole in November 2015.

Default My husband Andrew died 12/12/13 At SCC

Hello Everyone

My name is Crystal Tisnado and I am the wife of the inmate Andrew Tisnado who was killed at SCC in Jamestown on 12/12/13.

I have been told the facility is still on lockdown but as of today I have no information on how or why and I have yet to know who is investigating this. My husband was the love of my life for 16 years we have a 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. If any of you have any information or speak to your loved ones that were on his yard and dorm PLEASE help me. I just burried my husband this past weekend and I do not wish this pain on anyone. I am forever heart broken

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have not heard from my love since new years day. He is at a different prison. So I'm a little worried. Hopefully he will call today.

My heart breaks for you and your children. I hope they find out who did this and how staff was apparently unaware of what was going on. May your husband RIP .
