I am a Christian but I truely believe that God loves us no matter what religion we "call" ourselves. Its what is in our hearts.

I was raised Christian, in the Black church tradition. And I still cherish those roots. I am also an initiate in Candomblé – an indigenous Afro-Brazilian religion. I am a daughter and priestess of Oxûm (Ochun), the orisha of sweet waters, creativity, fertility and abundant blessing.

Default There is no such thing as Muslim religion

Islam is the religion that Muslims believe and follow. Muslim is the person who claims Islam as their religion. There is no such thing as Muslim religion, Islam is the religion for Muslims.

Your right, alot of pto people are christians, but I myself are Kemetic, its the oldest religion in the world more so egyptian and afrikan spiritual. Ever since I put down christianity going on two years, I've been a better spiritual and clear person. I had alot of confusion going on with the christianity, not that I knocking it or its followers.

Has anyone ever read the URANTIA book? I'm a Christian and found this book puts many religions as well as Christianity into perspective. It can be read at their web site or bought online.

Asalaamu alaikum,

I am a newly reverted Muslim. *we use the term "revert", because we believe ALL things and ppl are originally Muslim...Muslim meaning "one who submits their will to Allah", and by the nature of how the tree grows, how the sun rises/sets, etc, it all follows the command of Allah; even our own bodies submit to Allah's will...the way the cells reproduce, the blood flows, etc...so, we are simply "reverting" back to what we were originally born as.*

Since couldn't click more than one I just put Wiccan/Pagan... Was raised Christian but always felt pulled in a different direction... I would still go to church but I feel the Pagan/neo-Pagan path is the right one for me... My husband is Muslim but was also raised Christian... And thank goodness for his openmindedness that he encourages me to study and find my way. When I started telling people I was studying Paganism people took it as a joke... hhhhheeeaahhhh

My only problem is I respect everyones personal beliefs but I can very rarely find someone who calls themselves a Christian who will do the same to me (Christanity tries to say Pagans worship the "devil"... Not true!). Far too many times while people are praying they will say (talking about me) "And please show (my name) that YOU GOD are the ONLY WAY and ONLY THROUGH YOU will she really be at peace"... I can't help but think and then say to "God" in my head... I was perfectly at peace until you said that... But that could just be me...

Atheist/agnostic/non-religious.

I grew up in a Christian family and am against religion. It all seems very stupid to me.

Personally, I'm a licensed Pagan Priestess, formally trained and also a former Certified Religious Assistant for the ADC. Most people are surprised when they find this out because I've been told I'm too "normal". Gotta keep people guessing, I suppose.

That's me! I was raised in a strict Baptist church and as soon as I left home, I broke free, promising I'd never go to another Baptist church again. And I didn't for many years. A few years ago, I surprised myself by becoming a member of a Baptist church...not only a member but I wound up working part-time in the office and spent a couple of years as the Women's Ministry leader. Unfortunately, some things came to light that I was uncomfortable with and with I felt it was time to move on. I "wandered" around a while and wound up attending a Methodist church. BUT, it's not like any other Methodist church I've ever attended! We have a band, contemporary praise/worship, and we actually study out of something other than *GASP* the King James Version!

In past Methodist churches I attended, the pastors were rotated every couple of years (something I never could understand or agree was beneficial - but that's just me), and the pastor of my church has been there since the churches conception. So, I guess just as there are different types of Baptist, there are different "types" of Methodist.

"In my Father's house there are many mansions..." John 14:2 (KJV )
