Default Can inmates receive magazine subscriptions?

would anyone happen to know if you can order magazine subscriptions and have them sent to inmates? if you could please share any experience or info you have on that, i'd greatly appreciate it. i already know that you can have softcover books sent to them through amazon.com and barnes & noble but, i couldn't find any info regarding magazines.

yes they can, but I wouldn't send magazines until he mainlines since it takes about 9 weeks to get the subscription started and the books have to be sent directly from smewhere like barnes and noble or amazon

I have ordered magazines for inmates directly from the publisher.

There is a website that apparently specializes in this: http://www.inmatemags.com/

That website has the feature of being able to order a single magazine vs an annual subscription.
