Default Cats and their gifts

Since my Husband has been away we have had to deal with the cat bringing us gifts, she did it while he was home too, half eattin birds, mice, grasshoppers, ect...Yes our Bella is a Great Hunter!!...Well today our Boys are at a friends house so its jus my daughter and I, we have a doggie door and Bella comes in wit a Snake hangin out of her mouth she drops it and comes rub up on my leg, the snake is still alive slithering around on the floor and I freak out, I am sooo afraid of snakes I start screaming my daughter comes down the stairs and sees it and were both screaming (screaming like Zombies were after us!) The cat looked like she was goin to get it out but she continues to play wit it??...finally I asked my daughter to run across the street and ask the neighbour to come get it out....I HATE SNAKES, I was frozen couldn't move..
I can handle half eattin birds, a mouse, but a Live snake, oh HELL NO!!
Has anyone else had to deal with something scary that their Man would have handled jus fine since he's been gone??..please share your story maybe I won't feel like such a LaLa!!...
(My Husband is gonna get a Big laugh from this one, he knows how scared of snakes I am!!)

The other night a bee got in and I freaked and ran into the other room. Then I started cussing him out because he's the one that usually handles all that lol.

There's no way on earth I would have to send for someone else to deal with it. My cats have brought snakes and mice on a regular basis. About once a month, I wake up to something moving around under the blanket at my feet - aha! another mouse. The snakes are just little garter snakes who want nothing more than to be out of there and back in their cozy holes. . . I suppose the cats could find a baby copperhead if they really tried, but they haven't yet. All in all, those are better than when I have to get up in the middle of the night and step on what feels like a lima bean . . . I always know they've brought in and eaten a mouse - that was its stomach.

Well we've had mice, live and in various states of mutilation. Same for birds too. Snacks always happen in the hallway,, live pets always get brought to the bedroom. It's not pleasant.

Weirdest thing that ever came home was a huge rhubarb leaf - maybe it's a cat thing coz I never did understand that one.

My Pumpkin is a good hunter, but I don't let him outside. We have wild mice that come into the house and he has a field day with them. He has not brought me any gifts yet, but I have caught him playing with mice before and flinging them around and playing with them. He is only 6 months old though, so everything is a game to him still.

I am not afraid of mice, rats, snakes or anything else like that though and would just remove the "gift" myself. Thats just me though.
