Question Old write up from previous prison term used against him now

okay, I don't know if anyone can answer this question.. but when my man left reception & hit mainline, the prison he was at decided to use a write up from his previous prison term against him, & we were told he wouldn't get contact visits until he got released. is there any chance that now that he's being transferred & he will be serving the rest of his time at a different prison, they won't use that old write up against him?

What was he sanctioned for? Some disciplinary infractions are going to tar someone in ANY agency for not just the current incarceration but any subsequent returns simply because they ARE that egregious. Others lose effect after a decade or so...
