No one talks about the womens facilities. My life long friend was doing time in chowchilla until they moved her. now she has been shipped all the way to corona.

I think the women sit back and listen to the fight for the men, and hope it will some how help them.

What choice do they have?

My wife is in Corona as well. I am blessed that I get to visit often. Remember as they extend good time credits, its across the board. I believe we we all see a benefit at some point. Keep the faith!!

I want to know how we find out if they made their bi-weekly report yet or not. I have no idea where to look, or if we would even know if they did.

Hi, I have good news. Just got off the phone with my man. He spoke to a sergeant who said they are waiting on the software to implement the 2 for 1 good time credits.

You may have said it before but I don't remember... What level is he? Is he serving 50% or other? Just trying to figure things out as I'm sure we all are. I've been obsessively checking the news feeds like a nut job! HaHa. Cali will probably try to keep it quiet but sooner or later we'll hear what's up. I really hope every single one of us will get at least some good news!!

He is at Lancaster as a level 4. He is supposed to be on a level 3. I do not know the percentage he is serving. Yes, I believe Cali is keeping things quiet as long as possible. I tried to find out the exact date the software would be here but he said they would not tell him because it would be like a "security breach."

Thanks for the information you share. My husband hasn't heard anything solid yet except for of course the rumors and speculation. Sounds like your man may have someone cool there who likes him and is sharing positive news.

The link worked fine for me, as long as I took the spaces out (and I used Chrome). Thanks.

I'm curious to know how all the good time credits will work, and at what point they will be implemented......all of this has my stomach in knots.....just like the rest of you anxious for your loved ones to come home.....i am beyond ready for my husband to come home. he was convicted of armed robbery with 80%....nobody was hurt and the gun was never used....right now his out date is in 2016, but it would be such a blessing to have him home a lot earlier.....

Hate to sound insensitive but they are not emptying these prisons but I hope they give more people the opportunity to receuve credits which will make their prison terms shorter and will be a slow release of the 10000 prisoners I know you shouldn't get too excited that ur guy may get out and then he doesn't and feel sad the way brown is but maybe feds Will have to take over

Hi Carinote5,

I asked him who this applied to. He said the new software automatically counts the time. He is not sure from when though. I will ask him the next time he calls me if he knows if it is for VO as well.

Default Early releases

This is part of an article on June 3rd in L.A.Times.

"We will seek a stay from the U.S. Supreme Court," said state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokeswoman Deborah Hoffman.
She said "The State would begin complying with the existing order", but "we look forward to making our case to the Supreme Court justices that no further reduction in the prison population is needed."

I'm excited yet I still expect the worse. The system doesn't want to comply. I mean after all not only the state but CDCR to because otherwise if the reduction of inmates is down then some CO's will loose their jobs. They know there jobs are at stake. That serves for another topic. I'm hoping for the 2 for 1 credits because people are getting taken into the counselor's office to speak about that but they won't know until their annual. So my guys is coming up. Realistically I'm not keeping my hopes up to high having him home now because all this controversy of Jerry brown but knock down a few months off his sentence yes. That would help reduce the time. He's served 85% of his time already. I see women posting about their guys signing papers and their guys being VO and done 85%. I know the catch has more things but hoping he will qualify for 2 for 1.
