At CTF, it was pretty streamlined and not a long wait. You showed up at 10 and got in by 11ish.
I overlooked this question before, somehow... Sorry about that! Walk ins take a number and wait outside until called in. If they are running on schedule they can usually squeeze some numbers in between appointments, but if there are any issues or they start late, you might have to wait until all appointments are processed. So walk-ins could start as late as noon.

There is but they arenít in use..when we first got there a few years ago we were allowed to go outside but that stopped soon after..I believe it was due to not enough staff members.

What is it with vpass for this facility? I was online at 12:01am today and the earliest appointment was 9am. This is the 7th facility we have been too and it has been the most difficult place to get an appt at.

Anywho...is there a restricition on the amount of jewelry we can wear? Also, do they still make you roll up the bottoms of your pants during the search?

Yes, you have to hike your pants over your ankles. I don't know if they limit jewelry but they do write down exactly how many pieces you're wearing.

And I agree, the VPASS here is THE WORST EVER. We had similar problems at CTF: had to call at midnight on Sunday, all appointments were gone right away.

Then then IFC there worked on it and they changed the call-in time to 6 pm Monday and suddenly, there were plenty of appointments for everyone, even a day or two later. I don't understand why VSP clams they can't fix it and it's Sacramento's fault. They fixed it at CTF.

Yes, they do limit jewelry. Two rings, one pair of earrings, and I think two bracelets and one necklace with one pendant/attachment. I donít wear necklaces or bracelets very often, so Iím not sure about those.

Hello! Welcome! Appointments are made online, visiting does get crowded no terminations they just double up couples. They are a strict and do call you out for excessive contact and any other violations, we use the vending card no cash, they have a token machine for pictures. Phone calls suck. Please feel free to ask away if you have any other questions.

Thanks so much. I tried calling at 12:01-that was a waste of time. I called during the week, and was able to get an appointment. I don't understand how all of the appointment times are taken... its very, very different from the last place. I can only imagine how bad holiday appointments must be. Do you know if you can wear white shirts there or bring in pictures?

People usually start canceling appts on fridays and you can also check on Saturday mornings until 8am for same day appts. Appts are opened every Monday morning 12:01am and they do go quick.
Yes you can wear white and you can bring in 10 pics at a time.

Phone sign ups can be a challenge. My husband works and itís hard for him to get an evening call so weíre lucky if he gets to call 2-3 times during the week 🙁 so for us at least phone calls suck 😟
