Virginia Covid -19 (Corona Virus)Please use this forum to share information concerning Covid -19 in Virginia, including institutions affected and lock downs. Please do not discuss individuals who have the virus.
"According to VADOC, three offenders at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women in Goochland have tested positive for the coronavirus. Additionally, three VADOC employees and one contractor have also tested positive for COVID-19."
I pray this doesn't spread throughout the prison system.

COVID-19/Coronavirus Updates
March 31, 2020 Information Updates
Three offenders at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women in Goochland, Virginia have tested have positive for the novel coronavirus.
Three Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) employees and one contractor have also tested positive for COVID-19. The employees include one officer in training at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women (VCCW); one correctional officer at Indian Creek Correctional Center; and one employee at the Norfolk Probation and Parole office. The contractor is a contract nurse at VCCW. We are following CDC and VDH guidance regarding any staff and offenders with whom the employees and contractor recently came into contact.
I'd venture a guess that all facilities in Virginia are locked down If you click on the link in my previous post, there is a list of Active Cases by Location. The hardest hit so far is Virginia Correctional Center for Women (includes State Farm Work Center) with 11 inmates and 12 staff.
I repeat, They tested positive at the Haynesville prison and I posted my first statement because they are not being honest about it on the news. I would not post anything unless I knew it for a fact. The families need to know the truth. I know of one who has tested positive as just a carrier and they put him back in population and one who is on a respirator. Buildings 1 and 3 are exsposed with confirmed cases and counting. Yes it's in our prison systems.
