Hi and welcome!!

Dress code consists of not wearing these colors, blue, forest green, or orange. Also your outfit cannot be form fitting, no sleeveless tops or spaghetti straps or see through clothing. I have seen people go in with facial piercings. Should be no problem with that. Hope this helps!

I believe you can take in one bottle and one diaper. I go up the hill to visit and not sure if each yard is the same rules for whats allowed. There is a page that should be more useful. Good luck and enjoy your visit.

I'm not sure if any of you are aware of the changes that will take place in May for visiting. I just wanted to give everybody a heads up, as of May 19th, we will start making appointments to visit our loved ones through the VPASS system at the CDCR. We got a paper on this today in visiting.

According to this info, we will have to setup our accounts beginning May 6th 2013. On or after May 19th 2013 we will have access to start scheduling our appointments with our loved ones.

The website for this is cdcr.ca.gov/visitors. You can view the demos and get info there too. I hope this helped!

You're welcome! You should be getting the paper this weekend, that would be nice if we got a chance to visit the full day! That would be a blessing!

I'm not too sure abt the money i think i took like 30 $1 bills, yes on the clear bag and yes on the earrings u just might have to take them off wen going thru the metal detector but u can put them back on after. I seen a lady with a lot of jewelry on she just took most of it off before she walked thru then she put it back on I was even surprised to see women in flip flops but i seen a few.

Hey ladies. You can take in up to 50 one dollar bills and/or quarters .. If bringing in kids they can have their own set amount its either 20 or 30. Yes any kind of clear bag is cool I carry a clear make up bag. As for clothing ALWAYS bring a back up outfit cause you never know. I wear my jewelry if I set the detector off just take it off and put it back on .
