If he's in Fac A, B or C it's based on the last 2 digits of his CDC number, you go according to the day he's assigned.

Wow! Hi Beachhouse...we were at Donovan together remember? So you might come to CRC? If you do, you can PM me anytime and I will give you all the 411. Hope all is well. We have about 6 months left!

I do remember and thanks so much. We've never been anywhere but Donovan so we are very nervous and it's farther so I won't be able to visit each weekend like we have been. Apparently the prison honeymoon is coming to an end. I will definitely pm you if we end up there so I won't be so nervous. Thanks and congratulations on the 6mos left.

Yes I was bummed out about leaving Donovan because it only took me about 20 minutes as opposed to and hour and a half now but that still isn't too bad. He could have moved further.

Yes please don't hesitate to ask. CRC is moving to VPASS next month. Not sure if you are aware of what that is but we will have to reserve visits online starting on the 19th of next month. You can still just go with a reservation but you would have to wait for all the reservations to go in first. You might not have a problem with that on D yard because there aren't as many visitors up there.

Thank you. Yes we are in countdown mode. I can't wait to go get him out of there and for all of this to be over with.

Okay so I just got his call and for the moment we stay at Donovan. He said the counselor was wrong and even though he's level 2 his amount of time puts him as level 3 still. If moved sooner than 3 yrs then it could be to centenela (sp) because he'd still need level 3. Prayers worked but with prison we never know they could move him anyway. In glad I got Information in case.

Yeah I know. They can be jerks when they want to be. But what can we do? I just hope everything works out for both of you.

I replied to you in the newbie thread. I don't have any info on hotels/motels in that area. Hopefully someone will come along and be able to help you with that.

Default Visiting

I'm new at CRC, matter of fact husband just got there today. I'm so confused about visiting. I was told they go by last 2 digits of Cd# and then look on calendar for your dates, and it's every other weekend. SO.. are you saying that will change and we will get visits on VPASS next month?
If so will it still be just one day, every other weekend? Please help me!

According to this info, we will have to setup our accounts beginning May 6th 2013. On or after May 19th 2013 we will have access to start scheduling our appointments with our loved ones.

The website for this is cdcr.ca.gov/visitors. You can view the demos and get info there too. I hope this helped!

VPASS does start next month but we will still only to be able to visit every other weekend and only one day per weekend.

okay so does anyone know when we start using the Vpass to set appointments i created an account already i remember someone posted it up but cant seem to find it thanks

never mind just answered my own question lol

On or after May 6, 2013, visitors can register accounts for the other 23 institutions, however, visitors would not be able to schedule appointments until on or after May 19, 2013, for these institutions
