They will drive them to the local station, near PV, once he boards the bus he will be released from there. He will arrive at the bus station located on H Street in Fresno. CDCR, will not drive them to Fresno.

I don't have an answer for you, but I know you are one happy camper. Good Luck! Keep in touch!
I got approved to visit, just found out a few minutes ago. I called. She said yes, you were approved on the 22nd.

I'm not for sure. I believe the CO's take them and watch them get on the bus. I think there is an agreement between CDCR and the station, so they are not just hanging around the station for the safety of the public..Call PV and ask to speak to the Sgt, in processing, they should be able to answer your questions chica.

Ok ladies ....here is current info on release procedure when picking up your lo..picking up my hubby was easy...they say to be there at 6am...I was there about 6:45...they are release between 7-7:30...I parked got out walked into the same bldg where you get process to visit...the guards were very nice...
You need your id and your current registration paper for your vehicle and thats it...they will tell you to park close to the entrance...then a guard will bring out your mate and its over....lol

Good luck to all who's picking up a lo soon...

I have a question ladies are they still releasing loved ones early Sunday morning? Reason being my man will be paroling next year and his release date falls on a Sunday. I know they did back in 2008 I'm not sure if they still are?

Do any of you ladies know if they will give you a hard time if you are driving a car that isn't registered under your name? I was going to borrow my brother in laws car. But before I make any definite plans I wanna make sure they aren't going to give me a hard time.

Another question for any ladies that know. Im hoping someone out there does. So My Husband got his release date, March 29 2014!!! So unexpected but so happy! But we are waiting to see how long it takes to get emergency restoration of credits. I tried calling his counselor but never answers! and from what my husband tells me his counselor is being a dick and giving him a hard time.
If he gets his credits back, he will be released at the end of this month!!
Does anybody know? Or is there someone else at PVSP that can provide me with an answer.

The car needs to be insured that is a priority. However, keep in mind the tags must be up to date and you must have a valid license. If they ask you if the car is registered to you or not be truthful. Do not divulge information. Just answer what you are asked. There concern is that the driver has a valid license, that the car is insured, and the tags are up to date

************************************************** **************

Congratulations!! I hope your husband comes home sooner rather than later.
The only one that will give you that information will be your man. His counselor, is NOT allowed to give you his release date no one is . That is against department policy to give that information out, even if you are the spouse. It's for his protection.

Good luck and congratulations once again

Medinabby, All I'm saying is be truthful if the CO, says, "is this car registered to you"?.

EXAMPLE.....if you take up a rental from Enterprise, that car is not registered to you. Right, be truthful about it and make sure you have everything else in order.

Keep in mind each facility has its own policy and regulations. How one prison runs thing, doesn't mean the prison down the road runs it that way.
