Prepaid phones calls

I am new to this. Is there a prepaid phone company in Illinois that I can set up for my son. That is cheaper then him calling collect or putting money on his books. Please help.

If he is incarcerated in Illinois you will use Consolidated. He can either call collect or you can set up a prepaid account but the cost will be the same.

Consolidated is kind of on the expensive side but it's worth it to me! I love being able to talk to my boyfriend. They are super helpful, at least they were with me when I was having problems with my debit card. But I got a Walmart debit card and it worked just fine.

Have you found a phone company? I use jailcallsolutions an they are expensive. There has to be something cheaper.

I take it your loved one is in county jail? Enjoy what you're paying now, because if your loved one goes to prison, there aren't any third party companies you can use.

I've been told by my fiancé to look into google voice. It's supposed to save us about $3 a call. What it does is give u a locAl number for them to call but it comes directly to ur phone

My daily PSA: Any call forwarding, three way calling, etc. is frowned upon by the system. Its use can be cause to lose phone privileges.

prisonerconnect is good
but there are a few other phone companies out there so its best to just google to find them
