How credits work

I'm really confused on all the credit and time off thing. So according to this

he should be getting 10 days a month off for working. They are currently working him 12 hours/day, 7/week. He should be getting 20 days/month for good behavior as there have been no incidents I am aware of (though I'm going to ask him all this next time we talk). But so far he's only earning 8 days/2 months. And today I noticed they added 5 days. For what??? Am I missing something here? Who do I talk to/complain to? How do I research this further? Thank you.

Who do you talk to about it? No one. He will have to do it. He will have to talk to whatever portion of DOC handles sentence calculations.
