Default Right to appeal?

my sister put my dad in prison for sexual assault which he got 5 years for anyways he signed his right to an appeal away and now my sister is saying since he was a low risk offender and is not likely to re offend she would have helped get less time or possible probation so the question is since he signed the right of an appeal away is there any way he can get that right back since now my sister wants to help and my dad went to dodge and they didnt recommend any special classes for him to take so another question is since he doesnt have to take any classes is there anyway he can get out earlier then the 5 years he got sentenced to?

If he took a plea, he did sign away his right to appeal on most issues. I'm not an attorney, but I believe two of the issues he can still appeal on are: Ineffect Assistance of Counsel and constitutional issues. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me

As for early release, I'm not familar with SC, but in many states SO's have to serve 85% of their sentence. Good luck sweetie, I know you're struggling with how to help you Dad and I do wish you both the best

If an inmate has to serve eighty five percent of their sentence is there a possibility of getting out early for parole? my husband is currently serving twenty years at san Quentin.
