Can Somebody Please Explain Earned Release Supervision

Want to know if anyone can explain the earned release supervision to me my fiance and counselor says that he gets 30 for 30 meaning that for every 30 days served he gets 30 days towards his release.

So if his ERS date is 2026 and he is getting 30 for 30 does that shorten his time any?

Hello and Welcome to PTO. I moved your post over here to the Mississippi forums. At least hopefully that is where your fiance is, since you didn't specify. Hopefully somebody from your area will know.


It appears that for every 30 days that he serves, he will receive 30 days off his sentence. At least that's what it looks like to me.
