In Texas an offender convicted of robbery will be eligible for parole after receiving credit for twenty-five percent of their sentence. This means when their actual time plus good time is equal to twenty-five percent of their sentence they will be considered for parole. This is different from aggravated robbery, aggravated robbery is a 3(g) offense and an offender is not eligible for parole until they serve half of their sentence.
