Default When does the inmate get notified regarding their release in California?

I was just wondering when does the inmate get notified regarding their release? My husband is scheduled to be released Nov. 3rd and has not heard anything since June. Thanks For you help!

Peace and Blessings!

Get notified about what?? If that's his release date then that's all they are going to tell him. You can send his dress out no more than 30 days before his release. Make sure to write DRESS OUTS all over the box.

Oh ok. He said the case manager he spoke with asked him for that info the other day. Don't they need to know where they are paroling to? I read on here that the PO sometimes comes and does a home visit before release or at least calls the owner of the home?? I guess there are no real set standards...just like prison hun?? You just have to hurry up and wait to see what happens hun? I think the wondering and anticipation abut what is going to happen is the worst part about all this

Default usually

usually around 90 days to the gate, the inmate gives a parole address.
sometimes house visits are made prior to release. it probably depends on the inmate's control and/or the agent he is reporting to. maybe his charges, too. my step son was paroled to his bio-mom's house, he came home with me. the day he was to report, he told his p.o. that he was going to live with me. then his file was transferred to the other parole office. the cdcr would rather they at least have some kind of address of release.
