Default Federal Probation Release Date? Will I get a letter?

Hi Everyone
I have completed my 3 years probation without any violations, and have completed everything the judge ordered me to do. May 8th was 3 years to the day I went to court. May 6th I get a letter in the mail saying my PO was going on leave and won't be back until July sometime. In the letter, they gave me a new number on who to contact, so I called the number and as usual answer machine, I left a message asking about my release date etc. My question is, will I just get a letter in the mail stating I'm off probation or do I need to keep calling the PO?
Thanks

Welcome to Prison Talk and congratulations for completing all of your punishments.

I did receive a formal letter from US Probation and the court a few days after my supervised release had expired. The message was clear, I was finished and released from any more rules/restrictions from the US District Court and/or supervision by the US Probation office.

Thank You, Trying to get a hold of my PO is almost impossible and the suspense was killing me. I will patiently wait.

God that must have been so nice. I can't wait to get a letter like that. I will never be happier to receive a letter from the US District Court.

Finding out that every punishment was actually finished (what I mistakenly thought would happen when my prison sentence was over) was a huge relief.
