Disappointed, I called the Parole Status Line - Mineral Wells Texas Prison

Today I called the Parole Status Line and after being on hold for 10 mins(the longest 10 mins) and then getting transferred twice I finally got an answer that he got voted on June 5th to a "serve-all" and that he won't be voted on again until January to see if he gets out on his PRD-3/6/13

Oh, honey... I'm so very sorry to hear this for you. I have seen many guys as MW get out on their PRDs, though, so at least you won't have to wait until June of 2013 for anothe vote. I hope he makes his March PRD! Take a deep breath and try to be strong. He will need you now. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your support. I'm trying to be strong and will try my best to make him feel better. He knows he can count on me, he has all my love & support. He's a strong person that's one of the things I love about him so he'll get through this.

Yes, you have to stay strong for him. It is very hard for them to hear that they have to stay one more day. But you will get through this and be stronger for it.My prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry and I truly hope that you can stay strong, not only for him but for yourself too! He needs you and you need him! You two will get through this! I'm praying your time passes by quickly! Remember we are all here for you if you need us!

Thank you all so much for your kind words. I spoke with him on the phone earlier and he said that he got a lay-in to go see the officer that does interviews on Monday. I told him I called the Status line and what they said and he was very disappointed, he didn't say anything but I could hear it in his voice. I feel so disappointed, sad, and angry but we'll get through this together. Time flies by really fast anyways.

Sorry to read about your situation. Be strong for yourself and him as well. I know it's easier said then done but you can do it look to the Lord for the comfort you seek, and I guarantee things will get somewhat easier for you. This is the only way me and my family are getting through all this ordeal. My mom and dad hadnt been separated for more then a day in 35+ years and now its going on 5 months! so we know how hard it is... Trust in the Lord and put your sorrows in his hands and he will comfort you.

It will be ok. I thought I wouldn't make it after his one year setoff but I just brought him home yesterday and I made it. Like others on here have told me; they cant keep them forever.

I’m sorry to hear of the bad news. I know that it’s hard, but one day it will be a memory of the past and not a part of the here & now. One day this will be a memory.
