Default Lost money FOUND!!!

Does anyone ever look themselves up to see if they have money due to them?? I have been doing this for years. I have found a good chunk of cash from a insurance company that was owed to me. A few other things for myself and for my family!!! I am like an addict when it comes to checking out this stuff!!!LOL

I did it once years ago. Nothing. .

Where do you search? Do you have links? I guess it doesn't hurt to look again. I might have a long lost relative that died that left me millions. You never know!

State Comptroller's website usually has it. After so many times of trying to issue a check, they turn he money over to the State.

I don't know in your area, I just type in Lost money found in google. I click on the site that pops up. I just did it this morning under my married name and I had a few claims come up. I had one that's about from 2005 that is just showing up now. I just like doing it and if money shows up I won't turn it down.LOL

For those that DO find something, DO NOT pay any third-party an entity a dime to collect. The State repository will return it to you at no cost once you have proved you are you.

I periodically check since I had so many addresses during my career and the addresses were often in areas with phone and electric co-ops. Those often have a profit return to members but it can be a decade or more down the road before distributions occur. Still have not had anything pop up with my name but have found others nominal sums (almost always under fifty bucks). I've also run clients as part of the file-opening process but have only had a few that had anything coming to them...

The state treasurer of South Carolina goes out of his way to find those with large amounts of money and return it to them in person. I've found money for friends, but no such pot of gold for me.

I found stuff years ago from college and a cell phone company. My deceased father had stuff there as well. Most states have an online form. It is very easy to do.

Yeah, I got so caught up in prepping for Irma I forgot yesterday was Sat. and then Irma missed me.

Now, I am angst ridden with survivor guilt and no Tito's to help.

Yeah, and dumplings with no Tito's always turn out fluffier and the kitchen isn't coated with flour.

That's how I found mine. I got a mailer from an "investigator" wanting to charge me. I looked it up myself and low and behold-- free money. Mine! No fake investigator needed.
