Jail calls

Does anyone have any experience with using *********.com. The site says its linked to global tel and can get unlimited calls for 29.95 a month to my cell phone. I have spent close to 400.00 since june and cannot continue to do that. I just want to make sure this is legit before i sign up bc there is also a set up fee of 19.95 so before i spend another 50.00 i want to make sure of this.

I don't know because I don't know what site you're taking about but like you I'd love to find anything cheaper that's legit for calls.

I don't know if this is an issue for you, but I always warn people to check with the facility first about cell phones and/or companies that reduce costs. In some places (like Texas) it is against the rules for an inmate to call a cell phone. It is also against the rules to use “third party” services like ConsCallHome. Those services forward calls to another line. The facility will find out; they have the technology. The inmate will get written up for a case, and you will lose all phone privileges and visitation when they do. I think it's better to be safe than sorry, so please check with the facility!
