I am from Cali, and my man is also incarcerated here, this is why I'm so ignorant to MS prison rules.

I am writing a friend of his and he asked that I send him lyrics to a specific song. If I Print the lyrics out from online , is this allowed???

I already sent something before, which they considered contraband and sent back. (was allowed in CA so I didn't think much of it) so I just want be on safe side.

I am not sure which prison he is in here, but at Parchman you can send him the printed lyrics IF you copy and paste them into another program, like WORD, so that no web address information is included. I hope that is helpful

You're very Welcome. My son is in Unit 30 A and my future Daughter-in-law sent him something that had the "Angry Birds" on it so she could show him what their son was talking about

. That is the only reason I could answer that question. LOL

That is cute! Yeah, in ca I can send stamps, envelops, etc.
I tried sending him stamps once and after I sent it, I found that it was not allowed in MS prisons. So I learned my lesson...
