Visits to Ney TX State Jail

My boyfriends is in the Joe Ney unit....and he will being getting out in Novermber but he is having some problems wiht finding a halfway house to go to....need some help!!!! If anyone knows any good halfways house i would really appericate it

Hi, I was wondering did he ever find a halfway house? My boyfriend is in the Ney Unit, and he is half way done. And so I was wondering if you could tell me any information about halfway houses and how it all works?

Do you two know about applying for the phase 1b program. Instead of goin to halfway house he gets to go home but he has to be approved my counslers there.

did he get an fi-5 if so exactly how long did he do and when did he get a relese date

The FI-5 is a 180 day program. We have 37 days to go and still have no release date. The parole certificate was printed 9/22.

Home...we finally got a release date. He did exactly 180 days.

3 months in program they decide if they are gonna go to HWH or Home w/ monitor so that's phase 1B....from what I was told...

Is there anything we can recommend to them (our loved ones) to ensure they do it to come home with the monitor?

Tell him to be very active in progam, sign up for as many classes he can thru out time he's there, show improvements. Don't be negative ad well...they are looking to see if he's prepared for free world without extra help such as half way house for 90 days. Are u going this weekend?

He's allowed as soon as he gets there, there's no wait period. All visits there are contact with whomever on his list.
