Question What is the Transition release program?

What is this program ? He's in Florida. Told me he signed up for before he comes home.

From what i gather it's a program to help prisoner's transition back into society. GED classes, if they don't have a HS education, how to create a resume, job interview instruction, bank account info, etc.

I think it starts either 18 months or 9 months before they hit the gate or somewhere close, depending on seat availability.

OK hopefully it helps him and be close to home. Last time he was doc the guy was zoning out on pills so just a joke..hope they can train him for something he can physically do. He's always in all kinds of pain and refuses to take anything. We have a couple of friends really messed up on pills so he refuses to get help for pain.

I have psoriatic arthritis. Pain is a mysterious thing.... but, he may be able to control it or keep it at bay if he can get to the root of what's going on. Good luck to y'all and homecoming!
