We will be married no matter when it happens

We started the process for the wedding that he was informed would take place on 10-22-2012 @ 9am. Then we find out that they denied my visitation and so now we are trying to get it appealed before hand so that we may go ahead with our plans. But, even if they managed to hold us up temporarily we will say our I do's the day he gets released. His counselor is trying to be a hard nose about even trying or be willing to assist him in getting anything accomplished. But, we will do what it necessary to be able to get him and our families through this patch and continue on afterwards and start for him to have a new life away from the negative environment that he has always been returned to in the past. Sorry I gotr off track four months to the day and we are still going to try and succeed with that date. If anyone could help by giving info where I might be able to get a license with living out of state it would be great Lake county does not issue without both being present. Go figure the county where I was born, I always knew it was backwards.

have you ever considered proxy marriage? This type of marriage is performed in four states: California, texas, montana, and colorado. This may cut out some of the red tape you dealing with now

Ikr cause it was the same wit me got tired of all da dumb stuff department of correctional had going on so I took da next step n travel to Texas to marry my soul mate n it was the best decision I made good luck

We are working towards making sure that we can go ahead with our plans of October 22, 2012. Unfortunately Oregon does not offer proxy marriages. If they did we would do that asap because we are already planning on having a ceremony and reception when he is able to come home up in Salem, that way all of his family can be there with us. The funny thing of the whole thing is that last year we discussed getting married in October and now this year we are planning on it happening. and if they are able to stop us temporarily I hope that it won't be as long to wait for him to get out but, if so then it will probably be in October of 2014 because he is tentatively going to come home at the end of September.
