Default RIP Stephen Hawking

Prof Stephen Hawking has died peacefully at home aged 76. He was a brilliant scientist who taught us about the universe . In 1964 he was given 3 years to live due to his diagnosis of motor neurone disease. Despite being almost completely paralysed he continued to teach . Research and share his genius with the world. RIP to a truly inspirational man.

Who cares what they say about us? Because when I am with you I am standing with an army

A true genius. RIP.
Everyone is calm and collected but I am telling you something. I am not calm and I am not collected. It’s a sick world out there.

And on pi day. Well played, Prof. Hawkings, well played.

id say RIP, but he was an atheist. According to his beliefs, after life, there is nothing, no soul to continue on. E are just monkeys made of space dust. Slightly more intelligent monkeys than the others around us. Our planet is not significant to the universe. It is only significant to us.

Glad he was able to lend us his brilliance for as long as he did and that he died peacefully at home. This groups of slightly more intelligent monkeys on an insignificant planet are less as a result of your death.

I always admired him, though even after his books I never really grasped his higher concepts.

If he died still an atheist, good for him. (Deathbed conversions always bug me.) Living as cleverly as he did was quite the example of unconquerability.
You'll know you've created God in your own image when He hates all the people you do.
