Default How do you count down
How do you count your mate time? As for myself I have to count by the months to make it seem like less time, in reality he has 5 yrs left before he EOS, but instead I say 60 months it just sound less and duable. What makes it easier for you?

We always referred to his time in years, until this year. Now that we're down to 13 months, I, personally, say that. He, on the other hand, prefers to go by "seasons" now. "Christmas is right around the corner, then spring, his b-day is July 4th, then Oct is HOMECOMING"!! Truth is, when you're away from the one you love, nothing is ever REALLY gonna make it sound "better"...until you hit THAT DAY!! *lol* *Sigh*...

I totally agree because even 60 mos sounds long but I know when that month is over we are closer to his homecoming, I'm happy for you that your husband will be home soon can't wait until my day comes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess i am lucky, my fiance only got a year and i count down on days and months. Today mark 201 days left. 6 months 2weeks and 3 days if i am not mistaking. We hope and pray he gets out before his release date. Its his first offense, and a nonviolent crime, and he took a plea of a year sentence.

HOMECOMING...phew....cant even wait!! I got sent word that my hubby is being transferred in the morning..along with some other inmates from Ventress and all them have EOS within the next few mts....wonder whats up with that...
