Usually if your number was already on his approved list and he just got transferred from one DOC facility to another, the list is still good. I know if he goes from DOC to a private facility, new list is needed or private to DOC. If he just went in, he will do a phone list and they will tell him when the numbers are approved. If it is a cell phone, it will not be approved until he submits a copy of your phone bill showing your name, address and the telephone number and they can only submit a phone list every 6 months. My son said a lot of guys were getting turned down on cell phone numbers because they only submitted the first page of the bill that showed the name and address but not the page showing the phone number.
