Default Possible denied visitation

My Boyfriend sent me the package where I register myself and my kids. He said his counselor told him them won't approve me due to him having a battery family violence charge involving me and one of our baby. I did not call the police his sister did and I made it very clear that I did not want to press charges but the state did press charges. Is this true? If so, is there something that I can do? We have kids together and he is going to be gone for a couple of years how do I go about not letting my kids go see there dad?

If he has charges of domestic violence and you and your child are his victims. It is very unlikely that you will be able to visit him.
The best thing you can do is get DV counselling to support you and your baby. Your only possible chance of visit is if your therapist agrees to it as part of your therapy and support.

maytayah has it exactly right. You will need to do domestic violence counseling, you and the kids. You have to be aware of just how many shades of domestic abuse there are and figure out how exactly to deal with that reality. The prison doesn't have to expose children to continued abuse (it can, of course, be entirely verbal) and it doesn't want the responsibility.
You'll know you've created God in your own image when He hates all the people you do.
