Default Cooking a Filipino Dish

I知 planning to cook for my girlfriend when I visit her. I met my girlfriend about 3 years ago through a foreign matchmake tour and I have been visiting her from time to time. Next month, I知 planning to visit her again. She loves cooking for me whenever we get together but this time, I really want to cook a Filipino dish for her. My problem is that I知 not sure what dish would be best and easiest to prepare. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I don't think she's in prison. Anyway I'd stick to cooking a food you know how to cook. My old neighbor was Filipino and I could never make the stuff she did even after she would show me step by step, never tasted like hers.

Try googling it.
Atm, Im forgetting the name of the rolls
is it Lumpia? (or something close to that)
Super yummy but they look time consuming.
They are sort of like spring rolls.

Why cook a Filipino dish? She know how to do that! Do American food - hamburgers, fried chicken, something like that. Then she can tell you what it's sorta like in the Filipino tradition!

Lumpia

Or even better grill something on the bbq. Hamburgers, or sliders or chicken......even veggies.

Try making Adobo, it's the trademark of Filipino dish. Simple and easy to make.
