Default Stiner Lock Down-Update 7/9/18

Both sides of Stiner will be on lock-down for a couple days at least. There was an inmate found deceased yesterday and it's being treated as a homicide.

My condolences to his friends and family.

Default Is Lewis Stiner One Hard Lock-Down?

Does anyone know why Stiner is on a hard lockdown. Normally hear from my brother daily, but have not heard from him for a couple days?

I haven't heard from my husband in a couple days but they had gotten off lockdown from the last time I posted about the inmate death (on the 20th). He called on Sunday but hasn't the last two days but this isn't uncommon at all for Stiner in the time that he's been there.

If I hear about anything I will post.

Thank you. We visited Saturday and all was well, but then did not hear from him. Called and was told they were on hard lockdown. Thank you for your response and if I hear anything further I will reply again as well.

Please do let us know if you hear anything! Visits should still be open even if they are on lock down. Unless there's a riot or something they generally allow visits.

My husband called from a cell this morning and indicated they would be on hard lock down with very restricted movement for the next year. Between integration and two inmates killed in two weeks it seems stiner administration is done playing. Visits will remain normal schedule for the time being.

I just received word that stiner is on lockdown again...the feds are there doing mass searches and investigations. Rumor is that there's been another murder. My thoughts go out to all those who have loved ones there.

Just got word from the inside that a group of inmates filmed a video of them making and sharpening weapons and posted it on YouTube where it became rather popular. So it all seems preventative at this point which is better. Hopefully it'll be over before weekend visits.

That's crazy! But hopefully no ones planned visits(of parties not involved of course) have to suffer for this
