Because you have both had disciplinary problems with the prison before, I don’t think you should be holding your breath waiting to be reinstated. Your need for visits is not going to be their priority. Presumably your children could still visit if taken by someone else.

When writing your appeal letters, strike the phrase “I couldn’t help myself” from your vocabulary. Poor impulse control is the common thread with most felonies and discipline problems.

You won’t find much sympathy here. Behavior like yours is what causes prisons to shut down contact visits and impose additional regulations on those visitors who follow the rules.

Good luck to you.

With 18 years to go you better "hold on to yourself" because now you might've ruined the chances for yourself and your kids to visit - unless they allow them to come with someone else.
I'd like to jump my guy's bones every time I see him but I will wait - and it's hard. I get you.
I wish you good luck and really go with what Marseille wrote.

So I just went through all your posts, it looks like your husband did 12 years before and then in that time you got put on probation and then taken off?

The first 10 years he got about 32 tickets or so, so honestly it makes sense that they are taking it so seriously. You both have plenty of experience with the jail system and know the rules.

They will look at his history.

It sucks but you have plenty of experience and know the rules.

I hope they allow your children to still go see their father.

I hope you can find someone to take your children to see their father as the ban won't extend to them.
There is no harm in you writing and hoping for a shorter ban. Make sure you accept full responsibility and apologise.
Good luck.

LMAO behavior like mine shuts down prison visits...your 2 funny, i have never had any issues before with the prison this is my first infraction, my husband has been there for 4 yrs and nothing, in regards to the 32 tickets and so fourth not sure where that is coming from bc my husband did 10.5 before and maybe had just a handful so please come correct next time you want to try and dig into someone past......and have you seen some of these prisons out here in AZ me touching my husband should be the least of there concern considering the drugs that are being brought in and passed at each visit, so try again.....smh

In June of 2012:

I understand the whole concept that if you stay out of trouble in prison you can get out early, my silly husband has been there 9.5yrs and got sentenced 12yrs...hes had a total of 31 tickets since 2003, not ideal but things happen, its obvious they took good time away from him, but hes been ticket free for almost 8mths, so hes applied for some of his good time back, does anyone know that process or how long it takes? I know that some can do 85% of there time, but my husb is considered a violent offender, he has agg assault so not sure how that works, but he was just classified as a 3/4 and his release date was jan 2014, which is great! but then he just got put to a 3/3 and his release date went from jan 2014 to nov 2014.....i know DOC site is never 100% correct, but just wanted to see if anyone knew about this ,,,? thanks!!!!
Then in March of 2013:
Quote:
sooo my husband was sentenced to 12yrs so his 85% mark would be april 2013, but we havent heard anything about a release date, on the DOC site it says his release date is 01/10/14 which means he is serving a total of 10yrs 9mths, and his 85% is 10yrs 2mths, so grant it he has had a few tickets but nothing major in almost 2yrs, just a minor in june 2012...but when we call TCU they say the same crap that the DOC site says...... UGH!!!! just wish I had a solid release date, bc the waiting and not knowing is killing me, ive been by his side since before he got arrested and i have been there this
W---H----O----L----E time, lol so 10yrs and 1mth so far!!! does anyone know at the 85% mark do they automatically review him bc on DOC site it says next review 04/03/13..........which would be his 85% mark, but if they did send him home at the 85% wouldnt they had to of given him a release packet prior to all this? This is 2 confusing!! I swear they should have a DOC book 4 dummies!
The point is you have little credibility when you post on a public site and then later tell new stories. He either had a "handful" of tickets or he had over 30. None of us have a crystal ball and can only go with what YOU have said.

To add to this you seem to have little respect for any of the rules. No one said you had to like them, and plenty of them suck but they are the rules and as someone pointed out you have plenty of experience dealing with the system and should have known better.

Do you not realize that sometimes the drugs you speak of being brought into prisons are brought in through visitation and by the visitor touching the inmate inappropriately? For that reason, i can see why they have little tolerance to touching.

For your kids sake, i hope they’re still able to visit.

A few years back a couple got called out for being too touchy. They were escorted out and everyone else's visits were cut short. The following day visits were cancelled so it does happen.

If it is 2 separate accounts, you need to relax.

The "other" account and you type practically the same so you can see why we think it's the same person. If you've been a member of this, you should know others look back at past posts to get more of a back ground and to further understand and give you insight.

You broke the rules, you have to deal with it, regardless of how small or silly it is to you.

I don’t need to “try again”. I spend 50 hours a week inside the prison. What I’m telling you is gospel. When people break the rules, the consequences reverberate to EVERYONE.

You are "touching" your husband with your children present? Not to mention other children in the visiting room.

Like others state, follow the rules and you don't get into trouble.
