Just curious if some one could share the process with me. If I am understanding correctly, he will tell me if I am approved or not. Do they call me & ask me more questions or what? The anticipation is a killer. Sorry I am new to this.

Hello. The visitation form goes to his unit counselor, they run a background check on you, then they will let him know whether or not you were approved. There's no set time for all of this to take place. Be patient...lol
My Sweetie has been moved to Holliday Unit in Huntsville on a parold violation!! So I'm new to this. Does he have to put you on the list and then you get approved? Or you have to send in the form and then he put you on the list?
I ask becasue I am sick with sadness. We have been together for almost 4 years and he is married in name only has not been with her for over 8 years been with me but she is on his visitation list and I'm not and I can not talk to himm because he has just been moved to this unit. he spent 1 yr at county.
We are so close this is like a sucker punch to the stomach. It is so out of character for him. He was able to drop me a note the very morning he got chain telling me what had happened and that he was going to contact me as soon as he got where he is going.
When he was in prison the first time they(wife) where together but since he has been out they are married only in name only. He will be getting a divorce!!! Why would he put her name on his list?
But should I assume that he does not want to see me anymore becasue I'm not on his list. Everytime I call i get sick becasue they tell me no you are not on his list. He got to the unit on 4-6-11.
I have never felt any pain like this before to me it's like a slap in the face. I have boxes full of love letters from him. He writes me just about everyday and I get a call from him everyday when he was in county. Now that he is in Holliday, i've not received a letter or a phone call and I can't visit him either cuz I'm not on his list!!!!
