Default RDAP Program

Hello. I have some many questions for anyone that can help out. I have asked my pre-trial and attorney and they don't seem to know anything. I have been given 37 mos. I'm going to try and get into the RDAP program.
My attorney, counselor and judge gave the recommendation in my file. However, I read that it was difficult since the BOP has the final say. And then I read a thread where a lady was accepted and turned it down because of the restrictions. Any help? Thanks so much in advance.

Your sentence length is close to the minimum for RDAP, although it is just long enough to possibly earn one year off of your sentence. Not everyone is eligible for additional time off, so find out if you are.

Be sure to tell your unit team/case manager right away, that you are interested in RDAP. If substance abuse is mentioned in your presentence report, PSIR, that will be helpful.

I can help. You have enough time to do RDAP. You need to tell your counselor as soon as you get there then put in a copout request to Dr. Moore or Dr. Adams. Write that you are interested in RDAP. It is a strict program but so worth it if you have had a substance problem. My daughter had 36 months. She got a 9 months sentence reduction and 6 months halfway house. PM me and we will talk.
