Default Convicted felon that wants to visit - Help

I have a friend that wants to visit her friend in a northern-ca prison, but she has a record from 14 years ago…2nd degree murder to be exact. She has served her time in Oklahoma and has been out without any troubles in 5 years! She is not on parole or probation. She works and lives a really good life! I wanted to know if the CDC will let her visit her male friend? Any thoughts?

just tell her to fill out everything on the form and to be honest and to attach something stating she is off parole/ probation and as long as she is honest i think she will be okay if she gets denied i believe she can appeal. maybe if she appeals it send a letter with her form stating she has been good and so on and she really wants to visit her friend... and so on

Try looking at this thread Convicted Felon and Having trouble Getting Approved. It has some really good information about what steps need to be taken in order to get approved for visit. Wishing her the best of luck

hello everyone. Usually if you have EVER been in prison you are not allowed on prison grounds. My hubby is an ex-convict he is not allowed at any prison. it's the law. Unfortunatly She will not be able to visit her friend . Now they may have changed things since hubby and I went thorough it.

ps. My info comes straight from my hubby

I'm not too sure if "it's the law".....always try and see what happens.
