Default Quick Question, LA Superior Court, help please...

I have been a longtime member of this forum but left for a while. I have always been mostly a lurker, not poster. Anyhow, my husband has been incarcerated for almost 6 years but still goes to court a couple of times a year (appeals I think, we have been on bad terms for while...) He is in on an 11 year sentence. I need to go to court on Friday coming up. I am not needed to appear, testify or anything like that but want to go voluntarily as he refuses to fill me in on his case. So do I need my Drivers License? I just lost it, and all the times I sat in to listen to his trial etc, I remember going thru metal detectors but never checking my ID? I just want to sit in which will probably take all day to see whats going on. I also don't know which court room it is, but I am sure the Clerk can give me this info? Any info appreciated. His way of "punishing me" for taking care of his kid and not being able to afford to care for him is keeping me in the dark...

You do not need your ID to sit in the courtroom. You can call the court and give them his name and they should be able to tell you the calendar info and what courtroom he is in, Good luck!! =)
