Default I need to know about oshkosh

my dad got sentenced to 5 years in prison and im just worried or scarred something might happen to him i love my dad to death he means the world to me and i dont want anything to happen to him he is going to oshkosh after he gets done with dodge county is oshkosh a good and safe place for a SO to go to is there plenty of things in oshkosh that can keep his mind occupied so time will go by fast for him, is 5 years a long time for someone to be in prison for i mean i know just saying it seems like its not but i mean to that particular person that is locked up is does 5 years seem like an eternity to them, i just want time to go by fast for him so he can come back home where he should be i just need a lil info on oshkosh and what its like there and what kind of things can he do to be occupied to keep time moving i just need a lil ease of mind because im like worried for him everyday because like i said he means the world to me he was the best father friend anyone could have

sorry to hear about your dad of course 5 years is a long time, its a scary thing when you first get sentenced rather its 1 year or 10. His time at first may go by slowly, untill he gets himself used to his surroundings and meets people in there and forms his own "crew" but once he does, and gets himself a routine hell learn to take it one day at a time and it wont seem so long. Make sure you keep him connected with "the outside world", even little things that may seem insignificant to you, can brighten his day! things like "i fell on my butt when i tripped on the dogs leash" keep him connected with you, stock up on stamps and send pictures of even random things that you see, mail is a prisoners best friend in there, it gives them peace of mind and lets them know you care... before you know it hell think his time is flying by hell be ok, its just gonna take a little time wisconsin keeps theyre SO's pretty well protected so unless hes causing problems he should be just fine/ i hope this helps pm me if you ever need anyone to talk to
