Will he go to protective custody?

Hi, My fiance has been sentenced to 5 year to serve day for day and 5 years probation for touching a child (he took a plea even though they had no evidence besides child's word)
My question is this as of right now he in in Ms. in a county jail in protective custody and is waiting to be sent to C.M.C.F for classification once he is there will he be in protective custody there too?
I'm very scared for him.
