Since I am ancticipating my Sweetheart going to VSP(W) I called the prison (559) 666-6100 x8950 or the visiting Lt. x5708. The recording said that odd days are for men. That is sad one day for visiting my Sweetheart.

My LO is hearing through the grapevine that they will be transporting this Friday and leaving Sunday, we will see. He is currently in mule creek endorsed to Vsp. Just told him about the odd/even for visiting and he is less than thrilled, looks like we won't make the trip until the women are out or visiting is both days. I have read a lot about the city of Chowchilla and I have decided to stay in a nicer and friendly city. I have been to too many of these hick towns they stick prisons in I for one choose to not spend my money in a town as rude as Chowchilla.

Regarding the new inmates coming in from other instituions who had visitors. Does the visitor approval application process have to be done again? I cant seem to get anyone on the telephone.

Answering my own question here. I got hold of a pleasant female SGT. she said NO, you are approved state wide for the inmate you want to see.

Default The dreaded bra question

Hello,
I am going to visit my hunny for the first time at VSP tomorrow No underwire is a given atall of the four he has been at but at one prison, CCI the metal detector is turned up so high that you can't even have hooks or metal adjusters in the straps. What do I need to prepare for at VSP? I want to sail through visiting check in with no wardrobe issues. Any tips would be welcomed. I know the whole what colors and all that good stuff. At SATF you were allowed to wear team gear but at Chino and CCi no.
Thank you,
