I got a call from my guy on the 5th and he said they had been on lockdown and were probably going back on when he got off the phone. I got a letter too dated the 4th and he said they were on lockdown so I haven't heard from him since the 5th and he's on Minimum Yard.

Thanks! During visiting on Sunday the 4th, my guy told me about the lockdown and what happened. He said that they cancelled all program except for visiting; however, he didn't think it would last all that long. Apparently it is hopefully they don't decide to cancel it this weekend.

Mine is on the minimum yard too, and I haven't heard from him since Saturday afternoon. I know it's hard to not worry, I don't start to worry unless it's been a week or so. You're not the only one

Well earlier tonight I 'almost' got a phone call. My phone started to ring once and I saw his picture and then it just said missed call. I thought for sure he would call again but he didn't. It was weird. Hopefully I talked to him tomorrow!

Default Lockdown on west /A yard?

Anyone heard from their loved one on west (A)yard within the last 24 hours?

Have a routine of calls every day and haven't received mine so I'm a little worried and wondering .

My husband is on A yard, in Joshua Hall, and he called last night. He did mention that one of the buildings (can't recall which) had a few cases of the flu and they were taking precautions to avoid an outbreak. I wonder if that may include modified program with no phones? If my husband calls later I'll ask him for more details and post again...

Late response but thank you!
I got a call just a couple hours after I made that post. My husband also told me about that same thing. Idk but yup, it did play part on the calls.

Thank you again.

[quote=Singingirl;7388478]I heard they are on lockdown today.[/QUO

D Yard was put on lock down on Friday night and as of Saturday morning when I went to visit my husband, they were still on lock down. He said they haven't told them why they are on lock down. He hasn't called today, Sunday, which means they are still on lock down.

Two buildings on the A yard were being quarantined as well due to an intestinal virus outbreak....which was affecting many inmates. They were screening all of those inmates before allowing them to visit; however it's unclear if that outbreak, is the reason for the lock down.
