Question South Carolina: More prison time for disciplinary issues?

In South Carolina , will they give the inmate more prison time for disaplinary issues. Non violent bs is more like it. My fiance was given 3 years to serve and has got normal disapline infractions. He actually got a prepaid debit card from NetSpend unwanted and unknown until he received the charge. He never even saw it, it came thru mail and they charged his as though he was capable of stopping it. He is supposed to get out in July, August at the latest I pray. But since he got this charge, would it be later? I want to raise hell about it but I don't want it to come back on him. Who helps when the tiny charges keep piling up more time at the projected release date?

Unless he’s done something that is actually illegal and has outside charges brought against him, the prison can’t add time to his maximum sentence. They can take away earned good time and of course, discipline problems would reduce his chances of parole.

No companies are in the habit of randomly sending out prepaid debit cards, so there’s clearly more to that story than you’ve been told. If he’s been found to be committing a crime via mail, outside charges are most definitely possible.

He can file a grievance; he can appeal the ticket. But its his responsibility to do those things. They're not going to discuss institutional issues with someone outside the facility. Their house, Their rules.

I at first thought the same until I googled it. NetSpend is famous for doing just that.

Possession should mean prisioner has it.
At no point did he ever even Know about it until he received charge. Then found guilty of possession of a negotiable instrument.

He is doing so. I'm here trying to understand these things from a common point of view. If anyone else has been privy to an incident such as this. Or can someone explain the process of disapline hearings. I've read all the looping round about answers online. Become so frustrated to find the same repeaded quote.

Disciplinary usually results in a loss of television, canteen, visitation, and phone privileges. He will receive the information after the hearing. When it appears on his online profile depends on processing.
