Default VSP going male?

My friend (currently banged up at CIW) asked about a rumour going about, that VSPW is being emptied of women to become a male institution. Any truth?

A prison realignment, effective in two months, will decrease the number of female prisoners and close one of the state's three facilities. Google for: Lebaron Chowchilla dee crack pipe

Chowchilla apparently has a poor attitude (not entirely unjustified) towards prison visitors.

The CDCR is telling the city of Chowchilla that it wants to convert VSPW to a men's prison - see http://www.cbs47.tv/news/local/story...TQnIH3Kiw.cspx

Latest word is that it will be converted to a men's prison.

The women at VSPW will not be allowed to receive quarterly packages for the 4th quarter.

Hi ladies. I'm not sure here I can locate this information so I'm hoping someone will know. Do you know the name of the spiritual advisor? I have a Native friend transferring there.

Thank you
Ari

I'm not sure who the Native Spiritual Advisor is, however, Lt. Tony Martinez is the Community Resources Manager who is the supervisor of all the religious staff. His extension is x5655.
