Due to A yard being on lockdown is the mail room really backed up on incoming and outgoing mail? My husband said he sent stuff out last week and he is in A yard.

My husband is the Mail Room MAC board rep and there have been issues for months with the mail room. They are short staffed and recently have new people working in the mail room. Also another thing they are doing right now is they only work on one yard's mail per day. So that is taking even longer to get mail out. Plus this new person they have working in there isn't following Title 15 procedures and is with holding a lot of mail that should just go through. All these issues will be brought up to the mail room supervisor at the next MAC meeting. They would have been brought up this month however a new guard was working in my husbands building on the last meeting day and they refused to let my husband go to the meeting.

The address for C yard is PO Box 409060, Ione, CA , 95640-9060. If. He just arrived, he may be moved again, so you may want to call Records at 209-274-4911 x5120. Just tell them you would like to find out the housing for an inmate. Then you can ask them for his complete mailing address.

not sure but when my hub was in CCI, I would stamp the envelopes with ink and colored the stamped image in with colored pencils. I even chalked a few of the stamps but made sure there was not excess that fell off the envelope.

I know that no crayon drawings are allowed, but you could scan them and then send the copy. Same with comic strips

as I understand it, simply, no stickers, glitter, crayon, metal.
(oh, once I used a heart punch and included the cut outs. Those didnt make it thru. I wanted it to look like confetti.....guess I was lucky they didnt send the whole thing back)

I have put my return address on the back of envelopes a couple of times because of drawings that I did or because the card was very small and I wrote his name big and they never got turned back.

The mail is backed up. My husband got a letter today that I mailed on the 7th. Theyre usually pretty quick the mail. Hopefully they pick up the pace. Lol.

Default Mule Creek State Prison - How many pictures per envelope?

Well, I think the title says it all.
I want to send one of my pen pals who's at MCSP some pictures but I don't know how many pictures per envelope he's allowed to get. Yes, I could ask him but I'd prefer these pictures to be a surprise.

Any ideas anyone?

Yes.

You can send 10 pictures at a time. Nothing larger than an 8x10. I always find that for most pics 4x6 are the best and easiest to get in, unless you need it to be larger. I also always put how many pics I send in on the outside of the envelope- so he knows what to look for and to be sure none were taken out.

You can send more than 10, they just need to be in separate envelopes. Only 10 per envelope.

Hope he enjoys the surprise! That is always fun.

Good luck!

Another way to do it is to put several on a page! But if you are sending individual photos it is 10 for California prisons.

And I put the # I send in the body of the letter, as well as writing his name & SID # on each photo. Just in case one gets dropped out or something while they are sorting the mail. I do the same for any enclosures like stamps, envelopes, etc so he knows what to expect.

Exclamation MCSP Sending inmates sexy pictures

Hey
I was wondering if anyone knows if inmates are allowed to receive nudes? I don't mean anything too explicit. I mean a shirtless & ass pic. I'm a dude.
Anyone have experience with that?
