I did confirm with visiting, that there will not be visits for those weekends.

They suck.

Not sure why it won't let you put in his CDC#-- under Manage My Inmates, add their CDC# and choose save.

Appointment times are gone in 2-3 minutes after opening up. KVSP opens appts on Sunday at 9pm. I don't remember if it's one or two weeks ahead and it's not listed on the VPASS schedule (annoying). After that, you have to just keep checking back to see if anything opens up. If it's very important that you have a visit date, you can also post here that you're looking for an appt for a specific date and people who intend to cancel can help you out.

Yes I do have his cdc# saved but for some reason the dates, time and cdc# are blank, no choices to make, only choices that are available are prison and visitors could it be because they are going on lock down for 2 weeks?

They don't block you from making appts during a lockdown, so that's not it.

It sounds like a glitch, because even if they don't have available appts the dates should still be there and it will return a "no appointments available" message.

VPASS support is non-existent and that's really frustrating. I've had issues in the past and the best advice I got from the facility (which is crummy advice) was to just make a new account and start over. I'm not telling you to do that, but it might be worth a shot just to see if there's been a problem with your initial account. I'm sorry this is happening. :/

That's possible how they'll do it. If A and D aren't on lockdown, i wonder which yard is? If B yard isn't on lockdown yet, I hope you hear from your man soon.

Kern Valley has 5 yards A, B, C, D and E yard. Hopefully, someone could answer your second question. About the two being connected together.

Yes, they receive and can send mail regularly.

I know it's tough when they go down and information is scarce. For the sake of clarity, let's try to keep this thread on topic regarding visitation and use this thread for lockdown info. Thanks, all!

Rainy season is upon us. In fact, it is supposed to rain Saturday, the day I'm scheduled to visit.

Does anyone know what is permitted to cover up when walking from the visiting office to the visiting room?

I'm sure umbrellas are not allowed. Clear poncho? I'll be sure to ask when I'm there this weekend, but thought I might get a reply sooner.
