Default Visitation approval, how long does it take?

I sent in the form to get on my boyfriends visitation list at Clallam bay about 5 weeks ago but I haven't heard anything back from them and neither has he. I'm sure there just taking there time by he is getting very inpatient to see me Anyone know how long it typically take for them to approve visitation. I might try to call the facility but it is hard to with my work hours and if it is typical for it to take this long then I wont bother yet.

Well, I sent it to a different facility, so I'm not sure about Clallam bay. But first time I sent it it took many weeks and still nothing. My boyfriend wrote the mailroom or asked his counselor (not completely sure anymore who he asked) and it turned out they never got the form (or it got lost somewhere). So about 3 months (yes, I've been that patient) later I sent it in again, this time written on the outside of the envelope that it had a form inside, and I think I was on his list within a week after they got the form.

You can call visitation, during visitation hours, and they will tell you what the issue is. They do lose paperwork, so don't be surprised if that is the case.

I got a chance to call today and the woman said that they did receive my paper work and they are currently processing it. So hopefully I will hear back soon. I'm glad I called though at least now I know for sure that they have the form so I'm worried about that. Thanks you both for the information I love this site, it's so nice to be able to talk to people that have experience with this.
