From what my baby is writing me n also from what others have heard, its sounds like its gonna b about a month. I heard they ordered enough bread to last a month. Sad to hear but this is what I know. I also heard nobody was killed which is some kinda good news out of all this goin on! If I get anything new I will post it!

What i dont understand is for this fight they gonna be on lockdown for a month but when someone gets hurt or killed it last a week or so....this makes no since!!!!!

Well I think this one is gonna last longer because it was a riot n I heard like 700 guys involved. A lot of guys did get hurt, stabbed but not killed. I think they r tryin to let everything calm down so it doesn't happen as soon as they let them back out. Idk...it does suck tho!!

the reason that lock-down didn't last as long is because they didn't have to do a full investigation. The guy who did it didn't know the other guy died and admitted to beating him up n they were like well he is dead

Hopefully I will have a letter when I get home Friday. Really wish they could give out more information as far as how long this might be. My friend is supposed to be going to the halfway house July 3rd. Hope they are not locked down until then. Lol!

Uhhhh... I can't wait for them to get off if it I wanna see my baby so freaking bad. At least hear his voice. It is some comfort to hear nobody died. I just wish this was lifted asap ... thanks to everyone in here keeping us all posted.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL REPORT

FCC Beaumont, May 20, 2013



An inmate disturbance occurred involving several inmates. This was a racially motivated incident. There were approximately 500-700 inmates involved. The institution was placed on lockdown status until further notice. There was two staff members injured during this incident. The staff members were transported to an outside hospital and was treated and released. There were multiple inmates transported to outside hospitals for multiple wounds.

My lo has been sending me 1 or 2 word emails, every so
often. But he doesn't talk about the lockdown. Anyone else
getting any word from their lo?

I had a friend in another medium federal prison that when they were on lockdown they would let them out every few days to shower and email and make calls. But there was never anything this bad. Plus i'm sure there's not enough time for everyone to do it. But this prison may not work the same way.
