Alabama Restores Voting Rights for Thousands with Felony Convictions
Governor Kay Ivey's office reported Thursday, May 25th that the Governor had signed the act into law, extending the right to vote to 'thousands' of people with felony charges.
That's good news. Thanks for sharing. I hadn't heard of the Vera Institute before so I was glad to check out their site. They seem to be doing good work. The more people speaking out, the harder it will be to ignore the noise!
