My husband was in Winchester, then moved to Florence. I have postcards which give info for a letter writing campaign. If you're interested, I can mail a stack of them to you or my mother-in-law can meet you in Casa Grande on your way out there for a visit. It takes just a couple mins to put about 5 on the windshields of vehicles parked next to you in the visitation parking lot. We have to get people writing to their senators, governor, etc. about the Department of Confusion.

What exactly are you trying to get done with your campaign? What are you trying to raise awareness about?

Hi! Im personally writing a letter a week and each letter focuses on a different topic/atrocity. From medical, to treatment from guards, to moving inmates with good behavior & terminal cancer into tents for no reason, to denial of water & bathrooms for 5 hours everyday....the list goes on. I just think of these people hear our personal stories in large numbers, they have to start paying attention. My husband has 4 yrs left as well. Nice to talk to people who understand.

Hi CharleysGirl! I have made a few postcards so far. I will attach one of them so you can see (how do I attach a pic to a reply post?). I made a postcard with the governor and director of DOC info as well. I will be making more with warden info, local legislators, etc. The letters I am writing have all gone to McCain so far. Then I will be writing Flake, then Ducey, then Ryan....taking turns. lol I want them to know mine and my husband's names. Obviously, my personal situation is what led me to this, but I want treatment of inmates and visitors as a whole to improve. Half the time, I can't even believe my eyes or ears when it comes to issues of incarceration.

You have to understand that this may have consequences for your husband. The backlash from this could be severe if they know which inmate it's from. If your husband is willing to take the risk that's fine but people need to know the risk is there.

What she's saying is true. They can target your husband and make his life hell if they want to. I commend your cause but you might want to keep names out if it for his safety sake. 4 years is a long time to mess with him. Hopefully you are writing to " friends and family" as well cuz the politicians in this state are all about the money not the proper treatment of inmates. There are countless cases proving this. Good luck on your endeavor

Just an FYI but if you want to complain to someone who might give a damn the DOJ has an open case on Arizona. They watching Ryan and company. But they want specific dates times inmate names etc

That's what I would do. That way, you know for sure what is going on.
