Default Arizona Eyman/Browning Book And Cassette Tape Vendors..

Hi,

I thought I'd introduce myself, my name is June and I have a cousin and also a new pen pal currently at Arizona State Prison Complex Eyman, Browning Unit.

I'm just wondering if you guys know of any vendors that are allowed to send Books to that prison.

And also Cassette tapes.

I've had a couple of lovely, helpful ladies advise me of Barnes and Noble, Walmart, Target, Hamilton Books.

It seems like the books my cousin asked for 'aren't easy to find' (typical, lol)and I can't seem to find them at the "usual" places.

So I thought maybe if someone out there knows of any other approved places that I can look at, I would be so grateful.

I've literally know idea where to get Cassette tapes from - I had know idea that these were even still around lol
Someone mentioned Walmart but the again, the ones he wants aren't there... (Arrrrrggggg lol)

Thank you so much for you help....
Hopefully, we an get an updated list of vendors for Books and Cassettes tapes...

Have a great day/night...
Regards,
June!

Welcome!
Cassette tapes are near impossible to find these days! I was so glad when my ex left the SMU because I could finally purchase CDs for him!
If you can find them they are usually expensive too and they have to be clear still as far as I know.
Books are easier! No hardback and the approved vendors list you have all the stores that spring to mind for me.

Hi June,

My guy is in Eyman-Browing SMU2. I haven't had any problems with Book Depository, but please note it has to be paperbacks only- no hardcovers allowed. As for tapes...that's the million dollar question. I did order from Inmate Jukebox, they accepted one delivery and refused the next one. I found him a Nirvana tape at Walmart and got that to him Ok. I recently found another site that has a selection of prison cassettes (tapeheadcity.com), but thought I would run it past him so he can ask before I order and go through that again. When I have an answer, I will update you.

I hope that helps,
Shelby
